how do i check what the voltage from my tps is? Andrew

Take one lead from you multimeter and connect it to the green wire leading out from the tps. The other lead from the meter goes to ground.

you can pierce the orange wire coming off w/ a safety pin...leave the pin in it. then turn the key on but don't start the car.
use a digital meter and touch the black one to a ground spot and the red one to the safety pin in the orange wire.

Should read around .97-.99 volts if I am not mistaken.
