A buddy of mine has a 2001 5spd GT with 173,000 miles..YES I KNOW, IT'S A LOT OF MILES!...but he ended up bending a valve messing around on the street..Looking for a shop to rebuild it, any shops you guys recommend?

The only two local places I would recommend would be HCI or Bob Johnson there both in Sac.

Look into Rob's Machine in Hayward. They just did a 01 GT motor build. Great guys to deal with. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005/02/RobsMachine/index.php [ March 03, 2005, 09:30 PM: Message edited by: 67stang ]

Bob Johnson in Sacramento. Has built two 5.4 engines for me. Honest as the day is long. Backs up his work.
