So yeah my friends 89LX Mustang that I just sold him yesterday the radiator has a small leak, and I think it's coming from the little resivour(sp) isn't holding any coolant and I think there maybe a whole on the bottom. The radiator itself is find and shows no sign of leaks or anything. The car doesn't over heat at all, it just leaks coolant, how hard is it to replace that little thing that holds the radiator coolant? And if I were to get it done at a shop how much would they charge me you think? LMK asap please, I need a solution, I don't want my friend getting stranded because of that little problem.

I'm going to just try and replace the resevoir bottle first and see how that goes, I don't think it should leak after that, I put my fingers under neath it and it felt wet so I think that's where it was coming from. If I need that part I'll pm you for it. GOTULKN is selling me a bottle, I'm going to make arrangements to get that from him.

dont waste your money replacing things. just patch the resevoir up with some sealant that can handle about 300 degrees. I dont "think" that thewre is very much pressure so dont worry about it. the radiator itself doesnt even normally go over 15 psi. [dance]
