I really dont feel a difference at all except for the change in rpms and certain speeds, i also needed new bearings and new axles so they put in some brand new mosur axles and bearings and some 3.73s----------------- this sucks

You dont feel a difference yet because you probably havent hit it at WOT..but hey, everyone did say 4.10s with an AOD [Razz]

i wasnt impressed with my gears either. the only difference was having to shift more. but you'll be happy with the gears once you get some upper rpm mods

You got gears and didn't even notice a difference??? That's pretty weird

Shoulda went with 4.10s because AODs suck

Only reason I haven't put gears in my droptop is because I like revving 2000rpms at 85mph

If you end up converting to a 5 speed you will notice a nice deference I have almost the same thing you are running right know but mine is a 5 speed now. the biggest problem I have is getting the car to hook good luck

You went the right way with 373's. I have 410's in my 93 AOD and i'd rather have the 373's in a heartbeat. I got these from a friend set up in the rear end already for a killer price, otherwise I would have gone with your gears in a second. I have had two AOD cars, one with the 373's and this one with the 410's. 373's are a better setup i.m.o. I am going to have problems at the track taching out now at 103mph right about at 6k RPM's [Frown]

Your car, tuned right (gap, timing, etc) will run a high 14 no problem.

I didn't really notice a difference with my gears either other than the fact that when i would down shift the car would slow down quicker. Now that i've driven it around a lot i can tell that theres more torque.
