Topic: 97' gt tweaking bad!

i have a 97 gt vert. auto. this is the problem, sometimes at idle or whenever it feels like tweaking it will drop the batt. needle all the way down and will start acting like it wants to die out and the abs light and check engine light start flickering but do not stay on so i cant hook up a scanner cause the lights dont stay on. it also does it on the freeway or whenever i turn on any hvac controls it has a brand new alt, and batt. i believe this started happening after i got a remote start system installed. any advice on what to do will be appreciated.
the car only does it once in a great while. but is very annoying in traffic. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Bad ground would be the first thing i would check.

my question is what ground, pcm, abs module ground. wouldnt it do it all the time if it was a bad ground? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Who installed the remote starting system? If it was a shop you may want to take it back to them and describe the problem you are having.
If you installed it then I would check all the wiring and make sure there are no shorts or opens in the system (look for stripped insulation or bad/loose connections).

does it do it all the time or only when u start it with the key or when u starte it with the remont
check to see if when u remonte start it if it happenes i worked at a stero shop i installed them all the time and most of the time what will happen is the alarm wont send 12v to the right ing wires

Why not take it back to Best Buy and have them fix the problem? You shouldn't have to deal with it if they fuked it up.
