Alright i've been hearing all over the place and it is made apparent now that lowering springs will hurt drag times, but lowers center of gravity (obviously) and helps on turns. I do both, drag and corner carving, so i'm wondering which set of springs will NOT hurt drag times (or even improve would be even better) and help cornering at the same time. I'm also considering BBK springs since I can get them and installed for 125 used but not sure if these are better than the C springs?
I'm about to get Ford "C" Springs otherwise since they have the same spring rate as Steeda Sport Springs unless someone can help me out with this.. If getting these springs will hurt drag times, how drastic will it be? Any recommendations to good springs that will not hurt or even improve drag times and supply great cornering will help... I don't know if you wanna run the Eibach drag kit it will mess up your turning, so just get the BBK or Ford springs, I don't think your car is making enough power for the springs to greatly matter, so it shouldn't adversely affect your ET too much, if at all.

What are your 60fts?
Just an fyi I have eibach sportlines and tokico adj. shocks and LCAs my car cuts low 1.7s and a few high 1.6s 60fts. I have to run the stiffest settings on the shocks in the back and the softest in the front to get the car to do that. If I go any softer in the back my 60fts get worse. I would say stick with a spring that gives you a 1 "inch drop or so.

I'll be honest. You can not have the true best of both worlds. It doesn't happen. For cornering you want much stiffer springs then you would for drag. Its a give and take, and its a choice you need to make. Best comprimise you will get is, go coilovers, and have multiple springs. They are very easy to swap out. Otherwise, go to the track the way it is. Drag race on it, then try going out and cornering (or go to an open track) and drive it. Decide which fuels your passion more. But honestly, both have way different set-ups.

Thanks so much guys. I've wanted coilovers but the only issue is price. )I'm willing to save now that i've read this but does anyone have any recommendations on which brand of coilovers I should aim for? Ground pounder i've looked up is the cheapest, but I havent heard anyone actually buying them. Tokico is a brand name and i'm thinking about their Illumina Adj + Springs set also..
