I am upgrading my front brakes to the SN-95 units, but I am still going to have drums in the rear. My question is will I have to upgrade to a different master cylinder or will my stock one be ok? Should I upgrade the brake booster as well?

Thanks

I read this page front and backwards, but it does not give me a definate answer re: my issue. I need to know wether I should use my stock MC and stock brake booster since this is essentially the same setup I had before, just in 5-lug? Or will my stock MC not work w/ the SN-95 front brake assembly. Please someone,..anyone? Everyone keeps referring me to www.svo73mm.cjb.net . This is a great website, but I would like to know what people experienced on this board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

personally I would do the 5-lug swap, then bleed everything out really well and take a test drive [Smile]

if the pedel doesn't feel right (i.e. too hard, or too soft) then change both the brake booster and the M/C to SN95 units.

the brake booster is a bitch to swap, my advise is to remove the drivers seat so you can lay on your back in the car and reach under the dash.

It took me an entire weekend to swap mine

thanks I think thats what I'll end up doing. I was on the maximum motorsports website and was reading into their MC upgrades and there was a note at the top of the page that stated: "Not recommended for use with rear drum brakes." My master cylinder should be able to hook up/work with the front SN-95 brakes,..right? [Confused]

Thanks

G.C.
