Author Topic: Tranny lines leaking six 5.0 ¯ Member # 3153 posted                                 Wsup guys, A good buddy of mine has a 1986 5.0 Mustang AOD. It appears that it's leaking tranny fluid from one of the two tranny lines that connect to the radiator. The tranny fluid is ONLY leaking on the lower radiator hose. I already tighend the connections to the radiator but it still leaks. Here's my Q. When I find wich line is messed up, how difficult are they to change.... I can prolly find the part number if you want, i think the wrapper is in my car. I used two clamps and like a week later retightened them a bit and it has been fine since, which is around 5k miles.
