Does anyone's low coolant light on their fox body work? Mine is always on and i heard that this is a common problem. What's the best way to fix it?

Change the sensor on the overflow bottle or if you want to keep track of the level yourself just unplug the sensor on the cap. Yes it's common.

Take a wire brush or some sandpaper and clean the contact bars on the bottom of the sensor first. They usually corrode, and it is cheaper to try than buying a new one for no reason. [ January 14, 2005, 03:04 PM: Message edited by: BlueOvalRacing ]

Yep, I have cleaned my own 3 or 4 times and still haven't replaced it once (250,000+ miles).
