I have a 96 S-281 sc with a vortec v-1 s trim super charger, running about 5-6 pounds of boost. Engine pings bad upon hard accell around 3000-4500 rpm. I have stock 19 pounders right now. Would bigger ones help?

probably go with some 24#'ers along with calibrating your MAF to 24# as well. Might want to look into a bigger fuel pump as well.

At least 30's.....
I wouldn't even touch 24's.
It's better to have more than enough fuel available than to go lean and blow a headgasket.

Thanks guys for the info. On the fuel pump situation I think the pump in the tank is stock but it has an inline vortec add on pump. Do I need to go bigger? Is to big of a fuel pump bad?
