how is the pedal feel?? is all you changed the rear brakes? are you running a mettering valve for 4 wheel disks? if the pedal feels fine just adjust the pedal in the car.

Looks great man. Do you get any rubbing at all, front or back? 2300K kit and those wheels/tires must have cost you an arm and a leg!

Just a shot in the dark here, but did you bleed the brakes?
Nice looking car!

My pedal is still low, I went under the dash and there is nothing keeping from it coming up, it just looks like the cobra booster keeps it that low. See pic. Here are some pics of my Hurst line lock install.

Actually you might need to adjust the booster push rod on the brake booster [ January 04, 2005, 06:02 PM: Message edited by: mtbaughs ]

The one between the booster and master? Because where the pedal attaches to the booster it just physically won't pull up any higher. I thought the rob between the booster and master shouldn't be messed with because it may apply my brakes while I am not even on the pedal.

Sometimes when upgrading the brakes you need to adjust it to make the pedal work right. Yes if the push rod is out too far it will apply the brakes even without stepping on the pedal. The way I set it is to screw it out just enough so that it almost makes contact with the master when its held/bolted in place. I'm not sure if thats the issue you are having but it is one other thing to check. I didn't read all your post but did you gut the distribution block? Sounds like if you had the kit it came with pretty good instructions regarding the stock proportioning valve. In the kit you get a new one of which you are suppose to gut and plug the back side of.
"The next step is to replace the stock proportioning valve with the one supplied with the kit. You must "gut" the supplied proportioning valve and install the supplied solid end plug to get the modified proportioning valve. The instructions supplied with the kit are pretty clear on this procedure. You will find that in some applications the proportioning valve mounts to the fender well via a stud and one nut. There is also a small metal tang that locates the valve mount. With the new prop. valve, you will find that instead of one, there are two mounting studs. To mount the valve properly, it is necessary to obtain the second nut."
Heres a link for some install advice just in case you forgot something during your install. Hopefully you've got all that covered already but I figured I'd offer it to you just in case
