need one...or if anybody sells a flexible dipstick tube. im tired of tryin to put on the original one....its a fuckin pain in the ass! was working on it since 6 and gave up at 9! couldnt do it!

Gave up huh?.. lol.. Summit does sell the flexible tubes. i dont know if they sell them for the 4.6. call and find out.

hell yeah i gave up to fuckin frustrating!! lol..
i ordered a Lokar flexible oil dipstick and tube from JEGS....did 2nd business day delivery.
guess i have to cancel my exhaust appt tomorrow!
can i drive it without a dipstick? jus wonderin.

DO NOT DRIVE IT WITHOUT THE DIPSTICK. oil will spit out and hit your exhaust and can catch fire. has happend before.

Lol- that's seriously McGuyver right there.
I ran my car a while w/o a dipstick but not with the hole wide open. I had gotten "over zealous" with the bending of my dipstick tube and snapped it off. I crimped the top until I replaced it. I ended up using a flexible one from Summit (it was a transmission dipstick I think).

pretty much. Both are a tube with a stick. You'll have to mark your own level (which was necessary for me anyway with a 7-qt Canton pan) but that's about it.

i just got the flexible dipstick off of JEGS.. now i will actually be able to get this bitch in. it should be here today
