how do u get the dam fuel line off i went to auto zone and they gave me a tool but no one knows how to use it

put the tool inside of the line it widens the lock spring and then you pull the line out

You gotta remove the safety clip first, then slide the tool into the connector and squeeze it like you would a hypodermic needle, with fingers on each side of the line and your thumb in the back of the connector. while your squeezing pull the lines apart. Sometimes ya gotta wiggle it and cuss to yourself. Mines a real tight fit. Just snap the lines together when you want to reassemble it. Good luck , no smoking!!
