GT-40 Alumininum heads "Turbo Swirl" 64cc chamber, 1.94" intake 1.54 exhaust valves $699 for the set from Ford Racing.com How good of a head is this? What can I expect over stock? I am going to be running this on my 94 with a cobra intake and whatever cam it will take that is still smogable.

$699 for both sides or for each side. If your gonna spend $1400 for heads might as well get some AFR's. Just my .02, but if it is $699 for the whole thing then thats sounds like a great deal. Good luck.

Great set of heads for a budget setup. Run that with a decent cam (B-303) and it'll really wake up that engine. Install the cam 2* retarded. Just my .02!

A friend of mine ran these heads for a long time with a powerdyne and later with a Vortech SQ. I think it made 440ish at the wheels with the SQ and stock cam.
I run the "X" version of these heads myself. 430rwhp with a little Powerdyne. Great low end and mid range torque. With 3.55 gears and 315/35/17s in back I can spin the tires in 2nd from 45mph with 2 people in the car.

Nice, I am good for a intake sense I am going for the Cobra clone look. I will talk to you in a few months when I save up enough for my heads.
