Get some upper and lower control arms and some subframe connectors. Your car will launch hard and get as much of its power to the ground as possible.

If you are doing the PI swap you might want to consider having the PI heads ported before you put them in. Also, you should get dynotuned after the swap.

Hold off til you can port them, you will benefit so much more down the road if you go with bigger cams, etc. It will be a pain to port the heads later.

once again...i cant port the heads right now. id rather put the swap on and still get good numbers outta it. anything is better than NON pi stuff. even if the PI heads arent ported. imma jst go with the swap right now. and IF i ever port of get bigger cams it wont be for a LOOONNG time.

Why did you decide on a PI swap? A set of P&P non-PI's with a set of PI valves will beat a PI swap anyday...unless you got the parts REALLY cheap.

I'm from Tracy. I was an Auto tech for 5 years, I do my own engines, trannys and rear ends. It saves me a ton. I recommend everyone do their own work. It makes it ten times more awesome when it runs like you want it to. Just read read read before doing a project you are not familiar with. However I did have Dave's engine of Newark do my short block assembly since he was balancing it and doing all the machining anyways.

I have cal Tracs that I modified to work with Mustangs plus 5 leaf reverse eye springs. My best 60 on only 8" wide slicks was 1.67 with the tire slipping on the rim an inch every pass, time for rim screws. Check the vids on my website. My rearend is a lincoln Versailles narrowed 1/2" on each side with Strange 31 spline axles, 4.11 gears, 31 spline detroit locker, and a Strange Nodular housing. See Broken parts on my pictures page for why. What do you need done?

here is the cal tracs website. http://www.calvertracing.com/
I only had to mod the cal tracs because of the reverse eye rear springs otherwise they are the best bolt on. I also have all the best mods for the front suspension. The 11.4 was with a T5 5 speed. Fun ride.

yup sure would, just be careful on slicks cuz eventually you will tear up the torque boxes with too much abuse. Also make sure your posi unit isn't worn out. That will cause traction issues. Also play with springs and adjustable struts/shocks to get it to hook better.

Yes, tino has traction problems too.As far as the rims,if something comes along with the right price then I will get it.I rather fix the traction issues first.
