Hey guys,
I've got a 408w, probably 550HP max at flywheel. Will this transmission hold the power in the TKO version: http://www.ttcautomotive.com/english/products/tr-3550.asp . Part # 2600708 on the bottom in the TKO section of this TR-3550 version of the Tremec. And I will be running street tires.

Ask questions if you have'em, anyone who thinks they're too cool, know's it all, or doesn't want to look stupid has more problems than you.

We had a TKO in our road race car for 3 years and it never had any problems other than synchro blocker rings needing to be replaced periodically. That was expected with the amount and speed of shifts that happen. It was behind a 306 so it didn't make 408 kind of tirque, but it was still a 400 rwhp motor. We replaced it at the end of 2003 for other reasons, and that tranny ended up going into another race car.

They had that place on the tv show Rides one time and showed the whole process of how the place in Texas builds the repro Shelby's. Some nice cars come out of that place, I bet they charge and arm and a leg for them.
