Author Topic: wierd idle GOTULKN ¯ Member # 4933 posted                              I was looking at a 89 Convertable 5.0 today with a 5 speed in it... When the car would just sit at idle it would hit like 3k on the Tach..... When I put my foot into the clutch.... The car would idle normaly but the check engine would light up.... The light would go out everytime I let go of the clutch..... But the idle wopuld go back up...... I have seen faulty tps sensors do this.
