When i am driving the car starts to sputter or hesitate when i give it gas. The check engine light also blinks and stays on but every once and a while the light dissappears.
Any suggestions\
Thanx MArcus

My 94 did that and I ended up replacing the dist since I figured out the sensor inside was FUBAR
Have you pulled codes yet?

all i'm saying is that my gt had all those symptoms, and when I swapped in a known working dist, it now runs like a champion!

ie: Have you hooked up your car to a scanner and pulled any trouble codes?
Your trouble also sounds like it could be your O2 sensors or cats are clogged/broken.

I find it funny how a lot of people think immidiatly o2 sensors for anything.........
What rpms does it sputter at?
How many pounds of boost are you seeing?
Whats your vacuum reading?
Ditch that fmu.....

I agree...check your codes first. A scanner is cheap and you will use it again. It is much better than just throwing parts at a car, hoping that it will solve the problem. Pick one up at Autozone.
