Like fasterdamnit said, if you plan more than 15 psi you should go with an aftermarket block unless you want to see all of your expensive internals all over the oil pan or what not, and girdle wont do anything except give you a place to begin looking for pieces of your crank in the case the block does split. you should look into an a4 or dart block or something like that. Going fast is expensive and if you want to save yourself some trouble now you better get the stronger block.
