i need to replace my tires pretty soon. i have the stock 16" ponies on there n i was gonna go wt 245/50 for the size. what brand should i go with? the car is a daily driver so i dont want to go with anything way over the top but at the same time i want a good pair of tires. thanks for the help

go with the yoko aes100 they are pretty cheap and better then the kumhos

i talked to the guy at my local tire shop, pacific tire in milpitas, and he suggested daytonas. what do you guys think of these, or should i go with the yokos?

Thes BFG's G-Force are really good. Didnt last that but thats my fault

dont buy daytonas, might as well get some kirkland signature tires
i like the kumho mx tires for the price

My yoko's are great 245/45, I would buy them again when they wear out, I just gonna gett'em a little bigger 275/40's. Price is good and really sticky'ickky. good luck

Nitto Extremes have lasted long for me...I put about 45k miles on the last pair I had.

back in the day when I had ponies on my car I use to run Bridgestone Re730's GREAT tires. Daytona tires suk! I also have had bfg kdws those were good and Now I have Nittos 555 and those are great also. good luck

if you want a tire that lasts go with the Toyo Proxy FZ4 I got 30,000 out of a set of 245-45-17's good snow traction too I was able to keep pushing the stang across the Tacoma Narrows bridge with 4" of snow on it they are also Damn expensive too. Set I am running right now are the Ventus K104's they seem to be holding up well, going to have them siped for winter weather so that will take some tread life out of them for better icy snow condition. Wait I sold my car and it leavs on the 10th for Washington Darn nephew can pay to have them siped himself.

I run Nitto 555's. They are awesome unidirectional tires. Just my opinion
