Yeah I've got Nittos in that size, and they hook fairly well. The bfgs hook better, but wear quicker, and tend to run a little bigger than the nittos do.

Hey Glenn just go to the track already, cut a good 60'(2.0-2.1) on street tires and see where you stand 1/4 mile wise

or u can get 2 15" wheels , buy two BFG's 235 60 15 or 275 60 15 , which ever fits better and u can pull a 1.8 maybe a 1.7 60' and really cut into your 1/4 mile times- thats what i did.

The ET streets should be mounted on 17x9 wheels. They hook really well. The cheaper way would be to get some cheap $30 15x8 steel rims at americas tire and get some 26x10.5-15 et streets.

I ran the Nitto 275/40/17s on 17x8s with no problems at all and I was cutting high 1.7s low 1.8s with them. If your looking at getting the most out of your car at the track I would skip DRs and go right to ET Streets. I have 15x10 Draglights with a 26x11.5/15 on them and they hook very well. However most people run the 26x10.5/15s

I'd say skip drag radials, skip ET streets and go straight to a true slick. There's about a tenth in a true slick that neither tire will ever get you at the 60'
only exception would be if you want to race in a class mandating either a street or DOT tire. If so, that M/T drag radial or ET street would be the way to go depending on what they allow.

They will bulge to much on the 17x8 rim. The ET streets are to wide.
I would skip the dragradial and get the ET street. Guys in my mach1 club are running 1.5 60fts on them
