i need to put gears in my car....i heard rearend specialist did a kool job but i dont know how much they'll charge or if anyone knows someone cheaper??

Rearend specialties did my gears a few months back. I think it was $220 for a gear install, trac lok rebuild, and all new bearings and shims and stuff. That was only for labor and they had them done in about 2 hours. If you want it done for cheaper you should talk to JohnB or HaulinAssMaro. I hear they do good work Andrew

I had their number and have no idea where it is now. Just look them up in the yellow pages, they should be in there. Andrew

Yahoo-->YP-->seach "rearend" in Santa Clara, and you'll find them... Yeah around $220 and they get it done within 1h while you wait! Can't ask for anything better!

if you buy ford gears it is easy i have done it five or six times now with out any problems you just reuse the same shims
