ok i just recently put on a saleen series II supercharger with a pulley change to the 10psi pulley. Before I was getting around 260-280 miles to the tank N/A (freeway and town mixed) and now I am getting 160-180 miles to the tank. I went from 19lb injectors to 30lb injectors, and I am staying out of boost 80% of the time. Not to mention I am driving 60mph on the freeway just to do so. I only made 286rwhp and 335rwtq (with the pulley change). Any ideas on why my gas mileage is so terrible? For that amount of power I wouldn't think it would be so bad. Filling up $20 almost every day is pretty terrible.

Yeah 30# injectors is still a lot of fuel even though its concered mild compared to other set-ups out there. Might want to tune it a little make sure you are getting the correct A/F ratio.

I think the ford racing supercahrgers for the SOHC 4.6 come with 30 lbs also.

2001 gt motor with built bottom end. The #'s seem really low for what I have done to it. My next step is to get a magnaflow catback and a high flow catted x-pipe. But even still, with 9-10lbs of boost I should be a lot higher than 286rwhp. Any suggestions on how to get it not to run so rich?

Thier is a new performance shop called racetune in hayward. The owner Frank has a dynapack dyno wich is the best tuning dyno in the world. You should give him a call, he is the best tuner ive ever seen. He tunes everythin from mustangs to 800rwhp supras. He could check out your car and will tell you exactly what is wrong with it.

i'm using a pulley from reichard racing which is a 2.6 size. checked my plugs and they looked fine. Changed em at jayl's tune shop about 1500 miles ago. believe me, i am a little depressed about spending so much and getting so little gain in hp.
