Worth it or not?

Yes. Put one on the 98... made a very noticiable difference in throttle response.

I think it's worth it I felt a little difference I also used it to bump my timing down to run nitrous on my car.

How much timing advance do you guys run on 91 gas?

I ran it first on 12 degrees. then cranked it up to ~15. Then it pinged. So, I backed it down to 13.
Then, I played with it at the track, and set it up for 15 again. No pinging now at all. Runs great.

Did you get a check engine light while running 15 degrees or you just heard detonation?

Yes I do... it has the 4.6 dohc, which the Steeda timing adjuster works with.

Nope, no CE light.
With the TA, you'll typically get the CE light when it's installed incorrectly.
