would really hot days contribute to my car dying when coming to a stop? All day yesterday 50% of the time when I came to a stop my car would die. The other 50% of the time it wanted to die but I kept my toe in it. Do I need a better alt?

What's your "Volt" gauge reading when it dies?...
I think you may need that big gauge wire kit from your 3G to your battery...Your electric fan maybe suckin up the juice on a hot day...
I doubt it would be a leak in your CAI, becuase your car would most likely idle rough as well...
BTW~I have a fuel pressure guage you can borrow and make sure you're not running outta gas, you've had that experience before...lol

Well it doesn't idle bad and the volts are VERY low they always have been....also yes my electric fan was on almost non stop that day. I forgot about the wire upgrade for the 3g alt. I'll look into buying one asap and see if that works.
didn't find any leaks under the hood and I think the fuel pump works fine...doesn't seem like its a fuel issue
