I was woulder if some one could tell me how to remove my air silencer and what it looks like?

hmmm I thought it was a plastic peice inside the box. so basically I need a new cold air intake

cold air intakes are for ricers.
take out your airbox, if you see something inside your fender that is your air silencer, the box inside the engine compartment IS a cold air intake as it draws air from the fender and not the engine bay.
its easiest to get the air silencer out by jacking the car up in the front and reaching up from the bottom behind the fender liner.

you need to start posting these things in tech talk where they belong. That is where "TECHNICAL QUESTIONS" should be directed. Also learn how to use the search function. No one will know you are a fucktard because no one knows you looked for it. We all need to start somewhere. Start out in the tech section and you will learn a lot. Sitting here in General talk you will have your questions answered but you won't learn anything else

You can get into the 11's on the stock airbox, which, as was stated, IS a cold air intake. Just doesn't have a shiny finish...
