Author Topic: Cam Selection Question MustangNate ¯ Member # 4559 posted                              Hey gues, I have a stock 86 5.0 w. E7 heads. I've been wanting to do a cam swap for awhile, my question is, what cam should I run? What cam can I have without knocking my valves into my pistons? I was thinking of either an FRPP E303 (220duration- 498lift - 110* lobe seperation) or the TFS Stage 1 (221int/225ex duration - 499int/510ex lift - 112* lobe seperation). Can I run either of those cams with the E7 heads? AND MY SHIT SCREAMS! Has a loppey idle at 900 rpms though. -------------------- If the purpose of a wing is to apply down force to the drive wheels at high speeds, shouldn't the wing on most imports be mounted on the hood?
