Can anyone tell me what this code means? I got this code form a Snap-On diagnostic scanner. The car is a 98 GT Vortec blown.
internal pcm rom failure

is the code p0605? if you have a chip, the chip will reset the memory on each startup

Do I remove it, then put it back in? Or leave it out?

The chip will set the code everytime you start the car. Since you are blown, you (probably) have had the car tuned with the chip. The code is not causing any problems, it is just telling you that the pcm memory was erased. The check engine light will not come on for the code, so unless you are trying to smog the car and the car fails a code scan, just leave the chip in. Just pull it when you get the car smogged.
