I got a 6an 45 degree hose-end.. and a braided russel 3/8 line.....

Iam i missing a part to connect them.. What is the trick... do you have to cut back the braided shit.

Take the red off, put it on the hose, slip the hose on the the fitting side you just took off,(should weezle in nicely) and tighted it back up.

That's just a guess though [patriot]

Is the braided line -6 or is it sold as 3/8" line? As far as installing a -6 fitting onto a -6 braided line goes the procedure is pretty simple though it can be annoying for first timers. Usually what I do is wrap a piece of masking tape around the braided line. The tape is used to keep the braid from fraying when cut. Wrap it tight. Next you want to make a clean cut straight across the tape. Usually a pancake cutter will do the trick. Cut slowly with little pressure to keep the line from fraying. After the cut take the lower portion of the fitting and push it on while turning the fitting. Like your screwing the fitting on. Make sure all the braids are engauging into the fitting while doing so. When the fitting bottoms out on the line install the top portion of the fitting.
