ok here is the deal my freind got a supercharger from vortech its a t-trim on an 01GT everything is in except the fule pump wich is on its way.when we turn the car on and its cold it will stay on no problem but when it warms up it will turn off at idle we have to be giving it gas in order for it to stay on.we alrwady checked all the vacume hoses and everything is connected.the other thing is that when the car turns on it releases alot of black smoke from the tailpipes.could it be that it needs the fuel pump.or the car just needs to get tuned ???The car has 42lb injectors with a pro-m mass air calibrated for the injectors and it should be running at about 9-10lbs of boost. And also what spark plugs should he be running and at what gap.thanx for the help guys

Sounds like the MAF isn't cal'd correctly. Plugs should be one range colder than stock, gapped at .038.
You shoulda just called me Tony.

If it's a Pro-M, you gotta send it back to them. It's about $125 for the re-cal. Go to Pro-Flow for the re-cal info.
