i was just wondering if any body out there has had problems with misfire codes. i have a 99 GT and am getting P0304 and P0307 mis fire codes. ichange hte coils from the #4 cyl. to the #1, and the #7 to the #5 cyl, stil getting the same code. so i thought must be injectors replaced the 4 and 7 injector and still am having the same codes. im don't know what else to check. so if any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an after market timming adjuster?...

It could be a number of problems...It could be a vacuum leak(cracked manifold), low fuel pressure, a bad valve spring, improperly seated valve, clogged cats and even a blown head gasket!...

Check your fuel pressure, measure your manifold vacuum and conduct a compression check.....

I had this same problem a few weeks ago on my 2001 gt,, I didnt put too much attention to it, so I did a reset, and the light did not turn on again,, but Im pretty sure its a bad spark plug that its causing this problem.

thing is it runs great unless i keep it at about 2500 to 3000 rpm then it thowa hte codes, as for plug wires there r none. i have 8 seperate coils that sit right on top of the plugs. i also changed the plugs yesterday as well thinking i had bad plugs in those two cylinders.
