What for? Going to ad boost? Will run great on 87 (designed for it.) You can run higher octane but will not see any more power or mpg. Only reason to up the octane is if you are detonating.

The higher the ocatane rating the slower the gas burns...Don't worry you won't blow anything up...I believe the only thing you have to worry about is the lead in any fuel higher than 102 octane...The lead will fuck up your cats and O2's...

SO DOES THAT MEAN I SHOULD GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE WITH 92 OCTANE THAN 87 OCTANE ON A STOCK 5.0?

Please don't write in CAPS, it means you're yelling...

No, 91 octane burns slower and unless you have advanced your timming you really won't benefit from using a higher octane fuel...

For instance, on your average 5.0, if you're running 10 degrees timming and 87 octane you're probably safe and actually running close to detonating, but you're not actually detonating...

If you increased your timming a couple of degrees and still ran the 87 octane you would most likely detonate...

The most popular and free horse power upgrade on a 5.0 is advancing your timming...You get the most power when you find out the best position (normally around 14 degrees before top dead center) of where the piston in relationship to when the spark plug ignites on an engines power stroke....

Hawaii5.0~try this page...It has a lot of useful info... http://auto.howstuffworks.com/ignition-system1.htm
