I got a CE light today 2 times, about 1 minute apart from each other, so I drove home and hooked up my tester. I got 189, which I got about 1 year ago, then I replaced both 02 sensors, and never had the problem again.
189 = fuel system at rich adaptive limit system lean
I'm mostly stock, save for the "regular bolt-ons" My fuel pump is a 255lph walboro, fuel filter and FPR are pretty new.
I'm looking for suggestions on what to look for on this.... would an exhaust leak cause this code? I'm sure that I have one on my drivers' side ball-joint between the header and x-pipe.
TIA

is the exhaust leak on your left side?...If so I think that could be the problem...Make sure you're not running too low in the fuel pressure dept with that AFPR...

I was too cheap to get an AFPR, just the ol stocker for now...
Yeah, I crawled under the car tonite, and BLAMO, one of the 2 retaining bolts on the ball-joint retaining flange was completely missing. I was able to kinda temp fix it using my AirForce training and some saftey wire, so I hope that can hold for a day.
Now to call BBK and get the part # so I can get the correct hardware. All I know is its a 19mm bolt.
Thanks man! [ July 21, 2004, 11:11 PM: Message edited by: 94gt ]

Your first mistake was BBK headers...
Second, check your plugs and see if you're running lean on any one cylinder...You're running Autolite 25's, right?...
It sounds like it's most likely your exhaust leak...Good luck!

BBK hater No, I understand about people not liking them, the passenger side most forward exhaust bolts where a PAIN to put on, but at the time, a set of headers for $60 was too hard to pass up. Ive been wanting to go the LT route tho.
I'm gonna call BBK up and see if they know the exact size of the bolt that I need.
My guess is that it was slightly jarred loose in my accident and just slowly worked its way off after awhile.
Thanks again man
