Got an issue with my 98 GT.. My car wont maintaine Fuel pressure..when i put the key in the on position the F/P reads 0.. i have to prime the pump a couple times to get fuel pressure.. once i prime the pump and leave the key on the on position it slowly start loosing fule pressure.
What coule be the problem.. im thinking it might be the fuel pressure regulator. It has the stock one.. what else could be the problem?

Yeah you'd have to drop the tank and change out the fuel pump. Only other thing it could be is a bad fuel regulator. Start by swaping a regulator since that is easy on a '98 [ July 18, 2004, 11:01 PM: Message edited by: mtbaughs ]

I had the same problem, after replacing everything, I finally noticed the little hose that connects the fuel pump to the fuel line in-tank was leaking---when ya change the pump dont forget to change that itty-bitty hose
