Check your driveshaft and rear yolk. If your losing a u-joint it may make the yolk bind up and make the rear end do some crazy stuff. Oh, and smoking the rear tires in third on the freeway, saweeet.

They arent welded but they do have battle boxes in there, waiting on the welding till I can afford the cage/subframes all at once, or have 66 ac cobra do it

there not that sticky, its a 17" hoosier road racing tire, its about as DOT legal as an et street, this one only has two lines though
the car has no grip in first or second so i dont think its the tq boxes
if i weld those boxes can that be ur wedding present

If it only did it that one time and it has never done it again since, you are fine dude. No problems.
BUT
If you feel it more often after a while, then you may have the same problem that I was having for a while. I couldn't figure it out for the longest damn time until I crawled under the bitch and started wrenching on shit. It turned out to be the upper control arm bolt. It had made its way loose just a bit. So I tightened it back down, checked all the other bolts and made any needed adjustments, put the car down, and went out trying to make her hop around.
Problem 100% solved
