do you guys know of any shops that do motor swaps that doesn't cost an arm and a leg ...

i'm trying to look into the future of my engine and once it reaches 100K, i think its gonna blow since im pushing 11psi in my 6.... so i want a PLAN B.

i was either lookin into swapping an 03 cobra motor or a mach 1 motor..

i'm hoping it wouldnt cost more than $10-12K..

what do u guys think>?? whats the best way to go??

a v8 swap is a lot of labor, so if you can't do it yourself I would sell the car and buy something with the motor you want instead.

We can do it at HCI. We have most of the stuff sitting around the shop. Spare 3650's & drivelines, spare take-out motors, etc. It would end up being a built motor for the cost of a stock Ford motor. The extra expenses would be getting the wiring harness/computer/getting it 'keyed' at Ford....stuff like that.

Sell the car. Use the 10-12K you were gonna pay to have it done and buy a nice clean 97-98 Cobra...or a down payment on a 03-04.
