Anyone here have any experience with the king cobra clutch kit? Thinking of upgrading my stock unit with this one on my 2001 GT. [ June 27, 2004, 11:04 AM: Message edited by: kennym01 ]

Good clutch for the street. Doesn't hold tons of power or stand up to repeated trips down the 1/4 mile but makes for a nice upgrade for street duty.

They are very good clutches but don't get the alluminum fly the cashiers at serramonte told me its best to stick with steel fly because the alliminum tend to bend after a while. but the clutch is fun and it is goin to be real stiffer.

"Valeo" is the maker for nearly all Pressure Plates and Clutch discs. If it is truly a King Cobra, it will have a ford part number printed on the face of the clutch disc.

Same here. Works pretty good if you aren't pushing big #'s.
