I dunno if it's normal, but in 5th gear in high speeds my car shakes n rumbles pretty bad. Sometimes it's not that bad though. Sometimes it does it in 4th gear also. Any idea why?? Thanks

Most likely it is your driveshaft. Do you have a stock one? The reason I say this is because I had a stock DS in my 93 and after the years of freeway driving it just wore out and became unbalanced. It vibrated the car around 75mph and it did it sometimes when at the top of 4th gear. I would bet money it is the DS or tranny/motor mounts.

probably the u joints on your drive shaft, you can replace those pretty easily. It may also be your tranny mount.

Yeah I got a stock driveshaft in the car. It shakes around 75 or the top of 4th gear like you said. Someone else told me it might be my driveshaft and u joints also. I wanted to see what you guys would say. What's a good driveshaft to go with?

If you replace your u-joints you might want to consider having it balanced. I did this on my '66 and it got rid of all of the shaking.
