So I drive the older SN95 mustang, and my cloudy headlights really aren't cutting it. People wonder if my headlights are even on at night. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to brighten things up, whether it be changing bulbs or just cleaning out the headlight casing?
Thanks, Ming

Get some chrome cleaner and a clean cloth. Rub it onto the lenses and polish aggressively. Wipe off after it dries. Re apply several times. If they are too far gone, stronger measures may be needed.

By lenses, you mean the headlight casings? Or the reflective mirror things behind the bulbs?

Hmm, I was hoping to keep it looking completely stock. Does anyone know if the crappy light intensity's due to old bulbs, the dirty chrome, or the cloudy covers?

recently there was a post on the corral with pictures of cleaned up factory headlights that had 180k miles on the car.
they looked brand new.
what did he use you ask? tarter control toothpaste and a pillowcase, took him 5 minutes.
