i was told a dremel hand tool is the best way to polish something like my 93 cobra intake does any one know a better way
does any one have one i can rent or buy from them

unfortunately you probably should be doing most of that by hand

The way that I do it is with an air powered die grider with an arbor that holds these little rolls of 80 grit sand paper. they look like cones so that as they wear you can rip off a little bit to expose unused portion. If you have alot of material to remove a aluminum die grinder bit works best. I like the straight one for roughing out the gasket matching then switching to the sand paper rolls to smooth out the rest. Then when done with the porting wash the manifold with warm soapy water to get rid of most of the metal shavings and blow dry with compressed air. I also have a long bottle brush to push down the ports to loosen any shaving s during the wash process.

Polish the outside, or port the inside?
I bought a used ELECTRIC Die grinder (Big craftsman) on Ebay to port my lower. Worked great, no Air compreesor needed. I used a big polishing wheel in a drill motor once to do some wheels. Sounds lame, but it worked.....

i think im going to use the air grinder cause i have a air compress. what levels of roughness should i use
