What are all of your opinions on the C&L mass air meters?? I have an 80mm maf but before I put it on with the trueflow pipe, I wanted to know what everyone has noticed as far as hp gain and performance. Worth it>? Also I hear that it messes up your car's computer...is that true? Is it hard to install? Please all feedback and opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance

c&l is a good product did u buy the one for a cobra or a gt? and if u disconect the battery install it,then connect the battery u shouldnt have a problem provided its correct for ur application and do not drop it! the whole install should only take about a 1/2 hour max! by the way since u have a dohc 4.6 to see/feel gain with those two items u really need to add a throttle body to that combo!http://www.bbkperformance.com/products/throttle-bodies.shtml you dont have to go with a bbk its just the most popular.check out accufab and mac also [ June 13, 2004, 03:40 PM: Message edited by: v-town coupe ]

you'll have to try it, they seem to be hit or miss depending on your car

Pretty much, there are posts I've read where it works great & some people get high/low idle.
Only one way to find out. Install it and post up.
