Hey guys, i have a 66, putting a 5.0 and 5 speed in. any sort of late model header hits steering or shock towers, old model headers block the clutch cable... anyone have experience with block huggers in a 64-66? do they clear shock towers, and how much room do the leave around the bell housing?
or, is anyone selling and decent late model shorties? i cant do equals, they stick out too far.
thanks in advance

hedman makes shorties that work. part number I think 8094
tri-y's may work but eventually burn your clutch cable.

actually it was part number 88400.
Block huggers will not work. the collector comes down directly where the motor mount is.
