im soon to be purchasing some 373 gears for my 97GT. will these make a pretty good difference in performance?? for example, my friend has a 96Z28 right now he beats me by like half a car. you think id give him a run??

You might almost be even but not beat him. I think 4.10's and a 75 shot of nitrous can help you beat him.

3.73's and some good tires is all you need.

i have a blue 97 gt with 373's by "motive"...best selection for racing and being able to be a daily driver...i smoke Z06's and ss camaros....had HCI rebuild my car with 6 speed tranny, new exhaust, new clutch. new coiol overt suspension, and new motor...hittin' 444 rwhp and the gears have withstood all of my mods and been avperfect fit...
