Expect the car to idle sporadically, ranging from 900 - 1500. It didn't surge. It sit there, but never at the same RPM. It would randomly just jump from 900 to 1200. Also, the car will run pig rich. Whenever you stab the pedal, you'll see a ton of smoke out the rear view mirror. My car got 8-10mpg while running speed density (its now around 15-17mpg) And to top it off, you'll spew unburned gas at idle. If I were youI'd plan on making the change from SD to mass air at the same time you do the cam.
