if i were to convert to a pi set up for my 98, what exactly would i need? i know the heads and i think the intake, any thing else? also, would it have an effect on any of my aftermarket parts? for example a throttle body and plenum, cai, maf or any of the norm bolt ons.

All you need for the PI head swap is Heads, valve covers,Pi intake that fit the pi heads and there's also a black tube I forgot what it's called that goes below the intake you also need that.Everything will bolt right up to your exsisting parts with no problem.

Ford sells a "swap kit" which includes all the misc. parts you'll need. i.e. gaskets, bolts, brackets, etc. I'd suggest buying the kit from Ford, but look for the heads and intake on like ebay or craigslist.
