would you expect the TFS#1 cam to pass smog?

seen it done before...but remember the rest of your combo will be involved as well (I'm sure you already knew that of course)
Shit, you could have some insaaaaaane heads, etc...and that cam would make no difference what so ever. But i've seen it pass no problems on a mildly modded, clean burning 5 liter.

the "smog" combo (don't laugh) stock exhaust including headers, TFS TW heads , and a stock HO intake and the TFS#1 cam installed per cam card for valve events, stock 302 shortblock, 87 octane and 10 BTDC.
oh yeah 30# injectors and MAF. worked last year so be quiet

worked last year, plus I don't have 24# injectors lying around nor do I have a MAF for either 24's or 19's. bottom line though, I don't subscribe to the theory that a certain size injector is "too big" for a certain combo for smog reasons. My tailpipe #'s last year were amazing, HC basically zero at 2500 rpms with 30's, and at idle. shoot half the people here would probably tell me 30#'ers are "too much" for my non-smog combo.
so, back to the "know anybody that's passed with that cam" part ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) [ April 29, 2004, 05:10 PM: Message edited by: shade- ]

Shit, it'll pass, my car barely failed a pre-test ( I'm talking barely, like a blonde cunt hair), 42s pro-m 80 on dyno tune 11.7-1, NO cats, No EGR etc. Just pre-test it to see.
