What plugs are you running?...What gas, 91?
I'd start with 6* and advance or retard from there, depending on detonation....

I ran my car with 125 shot with 8-9 degrees of timing. I also mixed 100 octane with 91 when i used nitrous. Never had a problem.

what is total timing
remember everyone this is a carbed motor not a 5.0, set a 5.0 at 10* base is about 30* total, or somewhere about there
u should be able to run a lot more than 10* total timing
what distibutor are u running

I actually think your supposed to pull 2 degress for every 50hp, to be on the safe side. I would try 6 degrees and work from there.
