not much at all, without having a h/c/i combo they wont help u at all
they will actually quiet the car down, and will drone less in the cab

In my car it quitted down at idle but it now sounds like a damn NASCAR at WOT. The collectors are going to hang lower as well, you need to weatch your ass going over speed bumps. As for power it felt like it pulled harder but in a recent dyno test in 5.0 there was basically no difference betweent Long tubes and short tubes on their NA 347 with heads cam and intake. In fact shorty equal lengths made the most power. Overall though, I think the long tubes are a great choice ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

it was actually the shorties, unequal that made the most horse power (on the may 2004 5.0 magazine). but it doesn't make a lot of difference.

longtubes are still better. if you look at the numbers below 4k rpm, the longtubes made 10 more hp than the shorties. also the h-pipe did not have the h connected so that might mess with the results
