You put the ends on the rear?
I sure hope you used a jig if so.

If its the standard Ford traction lock 8.8 I like to run amsoil synthetic gear oil in it along with one bottle of friction modifier from Ford. The friction modifier must be added. Add it first than the gear oil

Fostang.. Yes a jig was used.
Anything wrong with say castrol syntec gear oil? Will do on the addative.

75w-90 GL5 , Castrol, Mobil, it's all good...I like to use the Ford Friction Modifier, but you can get the same kida thing from your local parts store...

The posi additive doesn't get along to well with synthetic oil.
Plus if you have new gears in the diff. it's better to use organic.
I'd stick with organic. Friction modifier from ford is better for steel clutches.
