It's rated at 300 # of torque. People run more all the time but thats the spec

MTbuaght . do you have a phone # i can b contact you to see wahts bgoing on with my car. Try the msd distributor and it crank buut it my friend about 2 hrs before if starts.

Hey, junior~strim209-You need to PM(private message MTbaughs) thanks...
As far as the this posts topic, I've managed to brake quite a few T5's with close to stock hp...I'd say if your careful and don't power shift what-so-ever, you might be able to get away with 300rwhp...I've seen people run tons of hp with T5's, but honestly they dont last long AT ALL!...

I believe its the way you shift. Powershifting any stock tranny will wear the gears/synchros more then usual. There are cases where people baby-shift 400+ HP cars and still have the original T-5 however, drag racing is another story.
Driving style seems to be the determining factor with Trannys.
